Box Braids

Box Braids

Pros: Low Maintenance, swim friendly.

Cons: Can be heavy and bulky.

Tip: Make sure to have a scrunchy with you to pull hair back for certain activities! Also, bring something to oil your scalp with!


Twists

Pros: Hair is inexpensive and sometimes lightweight.

Cons: Installation can take a long time. May not be very protective to your ends.

Tip: Bring a travel size spray moisturiser and spray your twists to keep your hair moisturized to prevent damage.


Cornrows

Pros: This style last for a long time and has low up keep.

Cons: May not be versatile depending on pattern selected.

Tip: Use jewels to decorate your braids and make sure to keep you scalp oiled!

Cons: You may need to buy multiple wraps to match outfits.

Tip: Find a silk lined hair wrap to avoid any damage to your hair.

Conns: You have to maintain your hair to match the wig. Keep in mind trips to the pool etc.

Tip: When purchasing wig make sure that you hair will be able to blend with it whether its from a twist out, flexi rod etc.
