The Jordan Twist Out: a new twist out method for 2020
In the natural hair community we are always looking for new ways to style our hair and improve the way we achieve them.
Brandy, founder of The Curly Traveler has come up with a method of her own called The Jordan Twist Out. Now it is time to put it to the test!
What is the Jordan Twist Out?
The name comes from Michael Jordan’s basketball number, 23. Why? Because it is a combination of the two strand twist and the three strand twist.
In a way, it is nothing new. However the order of doing it can change the way your results may come out. The two strand twist will help with volume and definition. The three strand twist will help with length or stretching and more definition.
How to do the Jordan Twist
1. Start with a 2 strand twist. You will do this going halfway down the section of hair.
2. Hold the two section apart.
3. Take hair from both sections to create a third.
4. Start twisting a 3 strand twist, twisting in the same direction of the 2 strand twist.
