What's Your New Year Resolution? Here Is What New Orleans Has To Say.
I’m taking on new years resolutions this year publicly!
Let’s see if the people of New Orleans are prepared for a successful year. Follow me as I talk to some around the city and see what they have set as their resolutions… if any! Make sure to watch until the end.. i’m sure it’s something EVERYONE needs to hear!
Feeling inspired yet?
share your goals below!
Now that I have talked to everyone else about their goals, i’m going to share a few of mine with you!
I had to think pretty hard about what I truly want to work on and not this year. I decided to skip the goal I set every year of losing weight. I realized that I am fine the way I am and if I keep up what I am already doing I will be just fine.
Goals:
Stay focused on my long term career goals.
To achieve that I will continue to blog, produce my videos, write to sharpen my skills so that one day I can get a job doing what I love! I will also push myself to network… something that I haven’t been a fan of.
Stop being afraid.
I often question and doubt myself when it comes to doing certain things. I am going to work harder to get past those feelings that are holding me back! #SelfAffirmations
Give back.
While I will focus on my goals and work harder to meet them this year, I also want to volunteer more and give back to the youth! Like they say, they are the future.
Those are just a few of my goals as I have a lot.. that may or may not be a good thing. My tip for anyone like me with a lot of goals is to write them down and stay mindful of them. It can be extremely easy to forget what your goals are after two weeks. Do what you have to do to remember and be active when it comes to making progress. I would recommend getting a poster board and writing them down and hanging it up wherever you get dressed in the morning! Waking up and getting dressed in front of your goals for the year is a great way to start your day!
Good luck and let me know how you plan to excel with your resolutions this year!
